August 9th, 2008 - We had the one day tournament at Eight On The Break in Dunellen, NJ.
With 18 contestants, the qualification rounds narrowed it down to the top 6 players.
Then the finals were held as a double elimination contest.
Winners were:
1st place - Steve Bowden who brought home the grand prize of a Gottlieb Pinball Pool machine which was used during the qualifications and the finals.
2nd place - Jory Rabinovitz who played Steve on the final game, making a very close match - down to the last ball on the Pinball Pool. His cash prize was $100.
3rd place - Andrew Drabik who made it into the finals after playing only one qualification round. His cash prize was $50.
An enjoyable day for all who participated in the main event and the 3 mini tournaments we hosted. Until next time!
